The Marham Flyers New Years Eve 10K is a fast flat course around the airfield perimeter on good and virtually traffic free roads.
Whilst part of the route does transit built up areas, most of it follows clear and interesting countryside.
The event has being planned with the possible contingency of certain Covid restrictions being in place and that as such, the usual pre and post run in door facilities will not be available. However, if no new Covid restrictions are introduced it is hoped that we will be able to return to using the Community Centre for changing/bag drop and refreshments.
However, given the uncertainty around the consequences of the increased spread of the pandemic, ‘on day entries will not be accepted and all wishing to participate must sign up in advance, the closing date for entries being Fri 10th December with all entries in by 9 am Mon 13 December 2021.
Entries can either be emailed to: marham10K@gmail.com or posted to Community Support, The Hive, RAF Marham, Norfolk, PE33 9NP .
Run Numbers and any relevant COVID safe run instructions, will be mailed to all registered to take part after the closing date.
In addition, should inclement weather conditions make the run unsafe or operational activities necessitate cancellation, it may be necessary for the organisers to cancel the event at very short notice. In such circumstances runners will be offered a place in the Summer 10K, planned to take place in Jun 22. Refunds will not be available.
Ample parking is available and all entrants will receive a medal and goody bag.
